My precious ones

On Christmas morning I had the opportunity to get some pics of my own kids–dressed to the 9′s and ready for pictures! Only they weren’t having it so much. These pictures crack me up, but I think it captures part of the essence of who they are. I couldn’t help but share.

Meet Mason — Twin Cities Newborn Photographer

Just one for now (Christmas preparations have kept me busy!)–but I am proud to announce my sweet new nephew, Mason. He had a rough start to the world but is a strong fighter, and he is thankfully doing very well. Welcome to the world, Mason!

  1. Erin says:

He is beautiful Jules! You would never guess that he is a brand new baby though…he is so big! Love it! You did a beautiful job.

  2. [...] And I couldn’t resist sharing this cute picture of my chubbalicious 4 month old nephew, “M”. And yes, he is the dear that made quite the scary entrance into the world, but he is doing just fine now. Remember his sweet newborn pictures? You can view them here. [...]

‘Tis the season!

My apologies for being so slow with my blog lately. I’ve been wrapping up a few sessions, preparing for a few more, and getting ready for Christmas!

Tomorrow is my family’s 5th Annual Cookie Baking “Contest” (term used lightly) and I’ll make sure to update with appropriate pictures.

On a photography note, I’m gearing up for some holiday specials, so make sure to check back often so you don’t miss out on a killer deal!

Outdoor Therapy — Twin Cities Headshot Photographer

I had the pleasure of working with a former colleague of mine—Jane.  She and I attended graduate school together for Marriage and Family Therapy, and she now has a successful practice in Edina.  Knowing Jane’s caring, warm and professional personality, her success isn’t a surprise.  Jane, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!  I had a wonderful time reconnecting with you!

  1. Laura Brett says:

She is beautiful love the outdoor setting!

  2. Michelle Barnes says:

Great captures Julie – she looks great and I love the one on the bridge, especially.

  3. April says:

  4. Giovanna says:

Great job!! I love the color and the last one especially!

Gallery Mounted Storyboards

Storyboards are a really popular item of mine.  It’s a compilation of pictures (the 10×20 typically has three photos while my 20×20 can accommodate more) that are burned into a hard composite, and mounted with 3/4″ beveled edges.  You can choose whether you’d prefer white or black edges.  They are sturdy and durable, and come ready to hang.  And, they are really gorgeous!!  Check it out (pictured below is the 10×20)!

  1. Erin says:

This is beautiful Jules. Where did you hang it?

  2. juliekraaiphotography says:

Thanks, Erin! Right now it’s in our bedroom!
