As a mother of two young children, photography is my creative outlet—the way I slow down and find time to enjoy all the moments that normally rush by in the life of a young family.

My belief is that the process of capturing those moments should be fun—something spontaneous and unforced.  I strive to help soak in the reality of my clients’ lives and capture the details of those real moments that are so “true”—they make you smile as you think to yourself, “remember that?”

My style has been described as clean and classic that is sure to ride out all of today’s fads and trends. I also offer a large variety of high quality, beautiful boutique products, giving you many different possibilities of showing off your gorgeous new photos.

When you choose Julie Kraai Photography to capture the most special moments in your life, you have the option of having a studio session or an on-location session (we meet at your home or some other totally fabulous place), or both. My studio is located in my beautiful Victorian style home on the third floor, boasting of gorgeous views of White Bear Lake. It’s a stunning space that is perfect to capture you and your family.

During the summer months, I encourage people to venture outside to partake in the beauty that abounds…summer and fall in Minnesota cannot be beat. The outdoor beauty combined with my creativity results in breathtaking images that you are sure to love.
